A serious incident happened this evening in Shkodër, where a 21-year-old hit a pedestrian to death.
The young Valter Doçaj hit the elderly man in the Draçin neighborhood, who unfortunately died at the scene. The 70-year-old who passed away is citizen Pal Bicuku.
The 21-year-old was immediately arrested by the police. The investigative team is working to fully clarify the causes of the accident.
"Around 7:35 p.m., in the Draçin neighborhood, the citizen VD, 21 years old, while driving the vehicle, hit the pedestrian, the citizen PB, 70 years old, who died at the scene as a result of the collision.
Citizen VD was accompanied to the Police Station for further action.
The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
