New details have come to light from the tragic accident that occurred on the TEG overpass, where one person lost his life and two others were injured, after a concrete pump truck collided with an Audi vehicle and fell from the overpass.
According to sources, the two people in the truck are suspected to be Egyptian citizens. For this reason, their identities have not yet been officially confirmed, while authorities are continuing verifications.
One of them died at the scene, while the other is in hospital in serious condition.
According to preliminary information, at around 16:20, a concrete pump truck collided with a vehicle at the TEG roundabout. As a result of the collision, the truck broke through the protective metal barriers and fell from the upper part of the roundabout to the lower level of the Tirana-Elbasan road axis, in the direction of Elbasan.
Meanwhile, the driver of the "Audi" vehicle, a citizen with the initials RN, about 28 years old, was also injured, and was transported to the hospital and is out of danger.
