After the tragic event in Tirana, where the American citizen strangled his wife, his two dogs and then himself with a rope, a shocking detail has been revealed.
After the incident was revealed and the police arrived at the scene, a letter left by Werts for his father was found.
In his letter to his father, he wrote: "Father, I'm sorry, I can't make it. I'm sorry for what I did, she was stronger than me."
The author of the event, American Mathew James Werts, was a teacher at a private school in the capital.
It is reported that the 55-year-old did not show up for work today and it was the school director who discovered the serious incident after he went to his house and then notified the police.

Chronology of the event
Initially, the dead body of the American, who had committed suicide, was found, while later, looking for new evidence, the dead bodies of his wife, originally from Indonesia, but with an American passport, were found.
The 53-year-old American, after strangling the woman, covered her body with clothes and placed the 2 drowned bodies of the two dogs on top of them.
It is initially suspected that the incident took place under depressed conditions, but this is a preliminary lead and is being investigated by the police
