The arrested are members of a dangerous criminal group with a previous criminal record, in the field of serious crimes against the person, who were caught in the act, in the premises of a bar, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood.
During the physical checks and in this bar, the Police services found citizens Satilno Basho and Mariglen Aliaj, two pistol firearms ("Glock" and "TT"), with cartridges in the slot, ready to fire.
Weapons were seized as material evidence, together with 3 vehicles owned by the arrested citizens, 2600 euros and 8 mobile phones.
We remind you that two days ago the RENEA forces carried out flash actions for several hours and caught 6 people, 2 of them armed, in the premises of a bar. As part of the coded operation 'Obelisk', RENEA received information that Satilno Basho and Mariglen Aliaj were armed in a bar in Vlora. After their arrest, the officers also handcuffed 4 others for not reporting the crime as persons in the know.
One of the armed detainees is the brother of the strongman of Selenica, 'Tesi Basho'. Santilno Basho is also a known exponent of crime. He was convicted in 2019 for 'forced coercion to give away property'. It is suspected that he threatened his uncle to get money.
