A serious accident happened this afternoon on the Pogradec-Lin axis, where a motorcycle with foreign tourists collided with a pickup truck.
As a result of the collision, an Italian tourist was injured, who could not survive the injuries and as a result died in the trauma hospital.
After medical assistance at the hospital in Korça, the 31-year-old woman was transported by helicopter to the capital.
The police announce that Artan Bali, the driver of the car with which the Italian tourist had a motorcycle accident, has been arrested.

Following the preliminary information given this afternoon, regarding a road accident, we inform you that Urban and Interurban Traffic Specialists of DVP Korçë, arrested AB citizen, 33 years old, resident of Lushnja, red-handed, after on the "Pogradec-Lin" road axis , near the village of Udënisht, Pogradec, driving a "Benz" type vehicle, collided with a motorcycle driven by the Italian citizen ER, 31 years old, resident in Milan, Italy, who after receiving medical help at the hospital in Korça, was transported to Tirana Trauma Hospital, where he died.
On the part of the Police, investigative actions are being carried out and work is being done to determine the causes of the accident.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Korçë", the police announced.
