An unprecedented event occurred this evening in Lezha, where a person was severely raped.
The rape occurred near a gas station, on the Lezhë-Rrilë road, where the person in question was forcibly removed from the vehicle he was traveling in and then hit with strong tools by the perpetrators.
The injured man was initially transported to the emergency room of Lezha Hospital, where he received first aid, and was then sent to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for specialized treatment, due to his serious condition.
The police have launched investigations to identify and capture the perpetrators of the incident, while working to clarify the circumstances and motives that led to the rape of the citizen.
