Four young people in Korça have been arrested after allegedly setting fire to two vehicles in the early hours of the morning. The accompanied citizens are aged 17, 16 and 18.
It is suspected that the action was carried out after a conflict for weak motives.
"They burned 2 vehicles, in the early hours of this morning, the Police identified and escorted the 4 suspected perpetrators of the incident.
On 19.03.2024, around 02:00, in neighborhoods no. 4 and 14, Korçë, there was a fire in the vehicles of citizens GC and JG, where as a result of the fire, only material damage was caused.
Police services immediately went to the scene, where the suspected perpetrators of the incident were identified from the first investigative actions. Specifically, citizen K. Sh., 18 years old; two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, who in collaboration with each other, are suspected to have burnt the vehicles after a conflict for weak motives, which happened about two weeks ago, with the owners of the GC and JG vehicles
The 4 suspected perpetrators of the incident are accompanied in the premises of the Police Station, for further procedural actions.
The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event," the police announcement states.
