The Kalashnikov execution of Gentjan Bejtja on the afternoon of March 15 in Fushë-Kruje shocked the country because of the way the perpetrators acted, committing the murder in the yard of the victim's apartment and then disappearing, leaving behind the vehicle and the burnt weapons.
Professor of criminology, Ervin Karamuço, invited to the show "Top Story", considered Fushë Krujë, Kurbin and Nikla as areas where criminal exponents act as if the state does not exist.
He said that the people known as criminal exponents of these areas have "raised" hired killers and no longer carry out assassinations themselves.
" The mentality that there is no state has been embedded in these areas. If you have received the message that you will be killed, you cannot escape it, this is conveyed even within the family that the strongest will rule the whole area. 2 or 3 of these exponents that we know, do not take part in assassinations, they had a garden where they raised hired killers. Because of this created system, there every legend is about the strong. Fushë Kruja has become a structure where drug cargo cannot pass from Fieri and other areas without approval. If all the state's radars are there, for 24 hours this mentality no longer works like that. Imagine, the local police can't enter" , said Karamuço.
As for the murder of Gentjan Bejtja in his backyard on the afternoon of March 15, Karamuço said that the 43-year-old man was aware of over 20 serious crimes that are still without a perpetrator.
" He took with him an archive of more than 20 or so serious criminal offenses that today are without a perpetrator and undetected and that the police did not have the opportunity or the will to unravel ," added the professor.
