The Special Prosecutor's Office has also placed under investigation the former Deputy Director of Police Erzen Breçani, where the charge against him is money laundering and supporting the author.
According to SPAK, Erzen Breçani, fully aware of the illegal activity carried out by his son Eralbi Breçani, requested sums of money, the source of which was the trafficking and sale of narcotics, investing them in the commercial activity "HEC DRITA ENERGY", with administrator Eralbi Brecanin.
These illegal benefits have been invested in HEC under the guise of being loan financing, making it possible to avoid reporting to the relevant institutions.
The above, occurring before these facts, the Court assesses that there is a reasonable suspicion based on evidence that citizen Erzen Breçani has committed the criminal offense provided for by Article 287 of the Penal Code.
Also, it is suspected that he has committed the criminal offense provided for by Article 302 of the Criminal Code, by providing information to citizens Bujar Ajeti, as well as Nuredin Dumani so that these citizens can avoid arrest by the judicial police.
In Sky ECC interceptions, Erzen Breçani's son, Eralbi Breçani, already wanted by the police, cooperated with Ismail Zeneli (wanted) and Besmir Murat (arrested) for trafficking a quantity of cocaine from South America to the Netherlands. specifically, they had 10 kg each. While part of the cocaine seized by the authorities belonged to another user of the Sky Ecc application, but who has not yet been identified by the police.
In the conversations between them, they are interested in the amount of cocaine that came out of the port of Rotterdam and in the conversation they express as a loss the fact that a part of the cocaine was seized. The talks were held from 09.11.2020 to 04.02.2021. According to the court, there is reasonable suspicion gathered in the evidence that Ismail Zeneli, Besmir Murati and Erlabi Breçani, in cooperation with the user D..P (unidentified), have committed the criminal offense of drug trafficking, for which they are suspected.
Also, according to the conversations, they cooperated with each other in another case of drug trafficking from Latin America to the Port of Valencia in Spain, according to part of the intercepts.
In this episode, the citizen Artan Sulejmani (in search) also appears, who does not result in the communication of the Chat group, but on 13.01.2021 with Ismail Zenelin, he emerges as a collaborator and part of the load of narcotics and in know with whom Ismail Zeneli is organizing the traffic. The conversations were held by the collaborators during the period 06.01.2021 to 19.02.2021.
From what is established in both cases, it was not possible to obtain the narcotic for reasons independent of the persons under investigation, as it was found and seized by the law enforcement agencies. The purpose of the persons involved was to secure narcotic substances for sale on the European market and secure illegal profits. The collaboration was in the form of a structured criminal group.
