The partner of Roan Brahim, who was killed on Thursday evening in Athens, has spoken to the Greek media, stating that she had no idea that the 32-year-old, who lived in Dubai, would go to Athens.
"I didn't know anything, he didn't tell me anything. It came on Holy Saturday for Easter" - said Brahim's partner. Regarding the incident, she stated that the assassination took place in the presence of the minor son.
"I was with him in the car, but I don't remember how it happened. Then I got out of the car. The child saw it all. Now my mom has it, I live in my house. I'm not well at all," she said.
The attack on Roan Brahimi is suspected to have been carried out for revenge due to his criminal past in Albania. The 32-year-old also known as Sidorel Prendi from Pllana e Lezha is suspected to be related to the murder of Gentjan Bejtja, in Larushk i Kruja a few weeks ago.
The police have doubts after the investigations showed that one of the persons arrested as a transporter of the killers of Bejta, Ilir Beqaraj, is the brother-in-law of Roan Brahim.
It is also suspected that the 32-year-old, in cooperation with Nikla's group, cooperated to carry out the assassination of Bejtja.
Also, this criminal group is suspected to be involved in several other events that happened in Kurbin and Lezhë. They are thought to have been financiers and organizers to hit rival groups. For the murder of Gentjan Bejtje, there are doubts that people from Vlora were paid as shooters.
Meanwhile, in December 2021, Roan Brahimi was declared wanted along with Ramazan Rraja, his nephew and Alesio Dobruzi, after they were accused of terrorizing several people inside a billiards hall in Zejmen, Lezha, armed with Kalashnikovs.
The name of the 32-year-old was also filed by the police for the murder on July 17, 2022, of Ervis Martinaj's cousin, Brilanti, and his two friends on the Fushë Kruja bridge. The police never managed to interrogate him about this crime.

The Greek media have constructed in 3D the scene of the assassination, where two people are seen, one gets off the motorbike and shoots with volleys at Brahim, leaving him dead. The assassins immediately left the scene on their motorbike.
