Two women from Kazakhstan were arrested by the Elbasan police, after they were accused of practicing prostitution in a rented apartment in the “5 Maji” neighborhood. Meanwhile, the police have criminally prosecuted the owner of the apartment.
The police seized amounts of money in various currencies, 3 cell phones, and the documents of 2 arrested citizens.
About a week ago, Elbasan Police discovered two more apartments rented by foreign nationals to practice prostitution.
In this case, citizens from Kazakhstan, AA, 34 years old, and AA, 27 years old, were arrested in flagrante delicto, and proceedings were initiated against citizen R. Ç., 42 years old, resident of Elbasan.
The investigative actions revealed that the foreign nationals were practicing prostitution in the apartment rented by the 42-year-old woman.
"They were practicing prostitution in a rented apartment, in the "5 Maji" neighborhood, 2 citizens from Kazakhstan are arrested."
The owner of the apartment is being prosecuted.
Sums of money in various currencies, 3 cell phones and the documents of 2 arrested citizens were seized.

Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, as a result of an investigation conducted with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to crack down on a case of prostitution, finalized the "Booking" operation, during which the apartment in the "5 Maji" neighborhood, where this activity was carried out, was discovered.

"Investigative actions resulted in the foreign nationals engaging in prostitution in the apartment rented by the 42-year-old ," the police announced.
