The police have hit a group that distributed doses of hard drugs and cannabis in Shengjin. 2 citizens have been arrested and 3 others who were involved in this criminal activity have been criminally prosecuted.
Quantities of narcotics cocaine and cannabis, divided into doses ready for sale, are seized.
The Narcotics Investigation Structure of the Lezhë Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with that of the Special Force "Shqiponja" of this directorate, as a result of the addition of services in Shengjin, to intensify controls against illegalities, throughout the summer season, as and in implementation of the orders left by the General Director of the State Police, for increased vigilance throughout this period, have organized and finalized, also supported by information intelligence, the coded police operation "Shëtitorja".
As a result of this operation, cases of cocaine and cannabis distribution in doses were found and dealt with in the coastal city of Shengjin.
For these cases, citizens ST, 22 years old, and KB, 23 years old, both residents of Tirana, were caught and arrested in the act, and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for citizens AP, 36 years old, residents of Lezhë, MM, 22 years old, resident of Shengjin Island and FG, 25 years old, resident of Kosovo.
During the checks carried out in the vehicle and in the apartment of the 2 arrested persons, as well as physically on the 5 citizens, quantities of suspected narcotics cocaine and cannabis, divided into doses, were found and seized, which were suspected to be possessed for the purpose of sale.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".
