A 30-year-old man was handcuffed in Gjirokastra, after being caught selling cocaine. From the search of his apartment, various amounts of narcotics divided into doses ready for sale were found.
" The city police in cooperation with the Operational Section and the Special Force "Eagle" of this directorate, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, for a case of sale in doses of hard drugs, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Tunnel", as a result of which citizen FG, 30 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, was arrested in the act.
During the physical check carried out on this citizen, the Police services found a quantity of suspected narcotic cocaine divided into dozens of doses ready for sale.
The amount of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine was seized as material evidence, together with 35,000 new lek and 80 euros, suspected to have benefited from the sale of cocaine doses, a vehicle and 2 mobile phones. "- announced the police.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions.
