The Shkodra Prosecution Office has seized the assets of citizen Brigeno Binoshaj and his family, which are suspected of being obtained through criminal activity and did not justify their source.
Binoshaj has previously been convicted by French authorities for drug trafficking.
Announcement:
At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Shkodra, based on Law No. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and suppression of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", the vehicles and motor vehicles of citizen BB and his family members were seized.
The investigations showed that citizen BB had previously been convicted by the French authorities for the criminal offense of “Trafficking in narcotics” as provided for in Article 283/a of the Criminal Code and after the relevant verifications, there were suspicions that this citizen and his family members possess assets or income that are disproportionate to the level of income or profits from declared legal activities and that are not derived from them.
In view of the above, based on Law No. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 “On the prevention and suppression of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property”, the following were seized:
– The vehicle “Mercedes Benz”, Model S600L in the name of citizen BB;
– The motorcycle “Piaggio”, Model Gilera, in the name of citizen BB;
– The motorcycle “Yamaha”, Model MT09, in the name of citizen BB;
– “Volkswagen” vehicle, Model Golf 2.0 TDI, in the name of citizen GB;
– “Yamaha” motorcycle, Model YP250R, in the name of citizen GB;
– “Lancia” vehicle, Model Y, in the name of citizen EB;
– All bank accounts in the name of citizen BB and his family members.
