A person has been arrested by the Police, suspected of being the perpetrator of a theft committed under the threat of an automatic weapon.
During the operation, the blue uniforms also seized two firearms, which are suspected to be related to the 21-year-old's criminal activity.
According to the investigation, the arrested man, a resident of the village of Mafsheq in Kruja, on June 19, 2026, at around 02:30, entered the yard of a house in the village of Radë, masked and armed with an automatic weapon, with the intention of committing a theft.
The young man was located by police services in the Kruja area, where he attempted to flee to avoid arrest, but was neutralized and handcuffed.
"Within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Rada", the operational services of the Durrës DVP, in cooperation with the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat, made it possible to capture and arrest citizen MF, 21 years old, resident of the village of Mafsheq, Krujë. The arrest of this citizen took place after, on 19.06.2026, at around 02:30, this citizen, masked and with an automatic firearm, entered the yard of the apartment of citizen MK, in the village of Radë, to steal. During the operation, in the Krujë area, the 21-year-old attempted to leave, but was neutralized by the Police services. The Police services, during the search of this citizen's apartment, found and seized, as material evidence, two firearms", the police announced.
