The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has ordered the execution of the investigative experiment for the murder of businessman Eduart Reçi.
This decision, which has been delegated to the police investigation team, was made, as the location of the shooter, who shot Reçin in the head, has not yet been determined.
The shell has not yet been found and it is not known what kind of weapon the deceased was shot with from a distance.
Reçi was shot in the head and died in the hospital, while many elements of the commission of this crime and of course the tracks and the perpetrators remain unclear.
The experts' doubts are numerous, including the use of a sporting rifle.
When Reçi was shot, fireworks were thrown in the area near his palace. For investigators, the throwing of fireworks may have been used as camouflage to "muffle" the sound of gunfire.
According to the police, the shooting distance is thought to be about 20 to 30 meters.
The construction businessman Reçi was initially with his wife at the entrance of the building on "Rrugën e Elbasani". He then went out to the grounds of the palace where he was shot by the perpetrators with a bullet in the head. Initially, the family members suspected that he fell by hitting his head on the road, but after the ambulance arrived, the doctors found the wound caused by a firearm.
No trace of the perpetrators has been recorded by the seized cameras so far, due to the darkness, but it is suspected that he was shot from a height.
Investigators sent the victim's cell phone to the lab to look at his last communications. The investigative group also seized street cameras and other businesses near the building where the victim lived.
Security camera footage from other days before the murder is also being reviewed to see if there are any suspicious movements.
The investigation track remains that because of the properties or because of the business that Eduard Reçi had for years in the field of construction. In 2015, he filed a report on property issues, a case that has been closed.
