The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has left in force the security measure of "prison arrest" previously imposed in absentia for Sajmir Kolaverin.
Kolaveri was extradited a day ago from Italy, where he was located after being declared wanted as part of the investigation into the murder and disappearance of the body of Klevis Lleshi, an event that occurred in 2020 in Burrel.
He is suspected of the criminal offenses of "blood feud murder", "hiding or disposal of a corpse", as well as participation in a structured criminal group, commission of criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization.
Sajmir Kolaveri is a relative of Aurel Hoxha, who is also wanted and is suspected of ordering the murder of Klevis Lleshi.
During the court hearing, Kolaveri denied the charges brought against him, stating that he had no connection to the incident under investigation. Investigations to fully clarify the incident are continuing by the authorities.
