The authorities of the Guardia di Finanza of Perugia have arrested an Albanian on charges of cocaine trafficking.
In his possession were found 16 kg of cocaine with a wholesale value of around 500 thousand euros and a retail value of over 1 million euros.
The Albanian without a criminal record was stopped during a road check near the parking lot of a shopping center in the municipality of Castiglione del Mare.
His vehicle was identified as having a hidden location in the passenger seat airbag.
The Albanian's confused state and the alert from the anti-drug dogs prompted the Finance department to carry out the control in his apartment, where they found 2 cans with 16 kg of cocaine packaged in 15 packages. The Albanian put them under arrest in prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
