The police have made it possible to clarify the circumstances of the serious incident that led to the murder of businessman Eduart Reçi a few days ago, after several in-depth investigations and analyses.
Investigators have managed to track down two brothers, Shkëlqim and Florian Duka, who are suspected of being the perpetrators of Reçi's murder, after a long conflict over the ownership of a plot of land that he was preparing to develop for the construction of a palace.
According to sources from the Police, the investigators carried out an investigative experiment to determine the possible position from where the businessman could have been shot, as well as the direction of the bullet. This research has been a key step in narrowing down the investigation and identifying the source of the lead that caused Reci's death. After the analysis of these elements, the investigators managed to carry out a detailed investigation on the location of the suspected perpetrators.
Following the investigation, the police reviewed the security cameras around the area where the murder took place, discovering important evidence that led to the pursuit of the Duka brothers.
During the checks carried out in their apartments and bar, which are located near the scene of the incident, other material evidence supporting the suspicions of their involvement in the criminal event was seized.
Furthermore, the investigators discovered that the Duka brothers had had an open conflict with Eduart Reçin regarding the ownership of the land where he was planning the construction of the palace.
After carrying out a series of investigative actions and checking documents, the two Duka brothers were arrested and put in handcuffs on charges of "premeditated murder" and "unlicensed possession of weapons".
