A 38-year-old man, identified as Fabio Ballani, who is internationally wanted, has been extradited from Germany to Albania.
According to an official announcement, citizen FB alias FZ, 38 years old, was declared wanted after the Criminal Court of Kosovo in 2024 had assigned him the security measure "prison arrest" for the criminal offense "Attacks on family members of a person performing a state duty", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.
Citizen FB alias FZ is accused of raping and threatening with a firearm in 2019 citizen KP, the husband of the judge who was judging the process involving the criminal group to which the 38-year-old belonged.
This citizen was handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons, for the purpose of carrying out further actions.
How did the incident happen?
Citizen KP was in a bar in his neighborhood, near the apartment where he was staying with his friend. At one point, when he went out to smoke a cigarette outside the premises where he was, after greeting his wife, Fabio Ballani, who was unidentified at the time, approached him.
Dressed in black and wearing a hat, he put the pistol in Kristaqi's mouth and addressed him with the words: "You with that sh** of yours, don't forget that you have two sons in France." At this moment, Behari intervened and the young man, after carrying out the threat, immediately left the scene in a white vehicle that was waiting for him somewhere on the corner.
Citizen KP is the husband of one of the members of the GJKKO, whose removal from the judging panel was requested 12 times in the trial against Emiljano Shullazi.
According to SPAK, in the serious incident, Emiljano Shullazi had the role of ordering the violence, while the order was carried out by Fabio Zyberaj (Ballaban) and another unidentified person.
Saida Dollani left the Shullazi trial, while investigations were launched into the threat case, but 10 months later, prosecutor Ida Ahmetlli requested a suspension of the investigation, while the court opposed it, reinstating it for continuation of the investigation in 2020.
