A 26-year-old man was arrested in Elbasan, after threatening to kill a police officer.
The 26-year-old was walking around with a gun at midnight, when he was spotted by an off-duty police officer.
"He was walking around armed with a pistol, at midnight, in the "Luigj Gurakuqi" neighborhood, it was ascertained by a police officer who was off duty.
At the moment of detection, the armed citizen threatened the police officer to kill him.
Thanks to the professional actions of the Police officer and the timely arrival of the General Patrol and the "Eagle" Special Force, which were on patrol in the city, which were notified by the Police officer, the 26-year-old was neutralized and arrested.
In the capacity of material evidence, a pistol firearm with combat ammunition was seized.
At the end of the first procedural actions, the citizen RB, 26 years old, resident of Elbasan, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Threat due to duty" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and military ammunition", announces the police.
