A 27-year-old man, wanted for 'threatening or violating election participants' and 'unlicensed possession of weapons', was arrested by the Lezha police, and will be prosecuted at large.
"On 18.05.2025, the Eagle Special Forces at the Lezha Police Department were able to locate and capture the citizen wanted by the police, Xh. S., 27 years old, resident of Lezha," the blue uniforms announced.
But after consultations with the prosecutor, the police announced that the young man would be prosecuted at large.
The 27-year-old was declared wanted along with another person, after the brothers of a candidate for MP in Lezha claim that they were threatened with a gun in the village of Dajç.
They claimed that they were followed by two cars because of their sister's electoral campaign in the Lezha region.
