Wanted in Germany for drugs, the Albanian soldier is arrested in Greece

A 24-year-old Albanian man was arrested by the Greek police following a European arrest warrant issued by the German authorities.

Hristos Xheka from Thumana e Krujës, performed mandatory military service in Sparta, due to his Greek citizenship, as he was born in Ioannina and resident in Athens.

With a European arrest warrant in hand, police officers from Sparta, in cooperation with those from Githios, arrested him as soon as he left the military ward.

He turns out to be a wanted person by the German authorities since May 8 of this year for "selling narcotics within the criminal organization".

According to the investigative file, he is suspected of being involved in this criminal activity from mid-October 2023 to March 2, 2024 in Dortmund and other places in Germany.
