Two young men have been arrested by police in the capital after they were caught with cocaine and large sums of money gained from the sale of the narcotic.
During the physical search of the 21-year-old, 37 grams of cocaine and over 10 thousand euros were found. Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched into the release of their 2 accomplices.
"The "Eagle" Special Force Services, in cooperation with specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Tirana Police Department, arrested in flagrante delicto, on "Fran Bardhi" street, citizen SM, 21 years old, because during a physical search, 37 grams of cocaine were found on him, as well as 10,200 euros and 180,000 lekë, suspected to have been obtained from the sale of cocaine. In-depth investigations are ongoing to legally document the source of this money;
The services of the Police Commissariat No. 5, in cooperation with specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Tirana Police Department, arrested citizen KH, 21 years old, in flagrante delicto, and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizens FK, 24 years old, and FH, 38 years old, because from the search of the parked vehicle, where the 3 citizens were staying, a quantity of Cannabis was found that was possessed with the intention of selling. Further, from the searches, 4 cutting tools (knives) and 1 fist amplifier were found in the apartment of the arrested person, while 1 baseball bat was found in the apartment of the 38-year-old , the police announced.
