Two cases of organizing games of chance in the premises of two bars in the capital have been attacked by the police. The administrator of one local has been put in handcuffs, while the other has been declared wanted.
" The Services of the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes in DVP Tirana, following the work to combat illegalities in the field of gambling, after the information provided that two citizens had made their premises available for the organization of gambling, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Black Daën", as a result of which 2 cases of this criminal activity were hit.
▪️During the control exercised in the premises of citizen AM, on Durrës Street, which this citizen had made available for the organization of unauthorized lotteries, electronic devices (a laptop, a tablet) were found and seized, which served for placing sports bets and distribution of users (accounts) as well as for placing bets with other people. During the inspection of the mobile devices of AK and LM citizens, pages that serve for placing sports bets were found open.
Following the actions, the AM citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto, and the proceedings began in a state of freedom for the AK, LM citizens, all three residents of Tirana.
▪️During the control exercised in the premises of a bar on "Nikolla Jorgo" street, owned by citizen AZ, the Police services found and seized 3 computers (slot machines), which were used for gambling. As a result of the actions, the AZ citizen was declared wanted and the criminal proceedings started in a free state, for the RK citizen "- the police announced.
