The Tirana police made it possible to arrest a 32-year-old man, who took 108,000 euros from a 54-year-old woman through fraud.
The blue uniforms indicate that the 32-year-old Klevis Berberi, abusing his duty, took the sum of 108,000 euros from the 54-year-old, falsifying the bank's notarial statement in order to appropriate this amount and the property that was to be purchased from her.
After the notarial deed for the purchase of the property was signed, the 54-year-old woman should have been the sole owner of this property, while the arrested person sold the property that was placed as collateral for the account of a second-tier bank
"Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, finalized the operation "Banker".
In the framework of this operation, a UN citizen, 32 years old, resident in Tirana, was detained on his own initiative for the criminal offenses "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms", "Fraud" with serious consequences, and "Abuse of duty".
The 32-year-old man, through fraud, abusing his duty, took the sum of 108,000 euros from the FM citizen, 54 years old, by falsifying the notarial statement of the bank in order to appropriate this amount and the property that was to be purchased from her.
After the notarial deed for the purchase of the property was signed, the FM citizen should have been the sole owner of this property, while the KB citizen sold the property that was placed as collateral for the account of a second level bank.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
