A major anti-drug operation took place today in Athens, Greece, where a drug trafficking network was hit.
It is about a Greek-Albanian organization that carried out its activities on the University Campus.
Greek media reports that 4 people have been arrested, including 2 Albanians, so far. Large amounts of drugs and money were also seized.
"The police action by the Athens Criminal Investigation and Prosecution Department (DDEEA/GADA) began on Friday morning, to destroy a criminal organization active in drug trafficking within the Zografou University Campus," Greek authorities announced.
So far, 4 members of the criminal organization have been arrested, two Greeks and two Albanians, who lived in the university's student dormitories, while quantities of cannabis and sums of money exceeding 20,000 euros were seized.
According to information, drug trafficking was carried out in the area around the Zografou University Campus and the operation is still in progress and ongoing.
