The Durrës Court has decided the measure of personal security "prison arrest" for the three perpetrators of Blerim Hanku's hostage taking, namely for citizens Iljaz Kotarja, Geri Cani and Jurgen Delia.
The prosecutor's office said that the arrestees are charged with the criminal offenses of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty" and "Coercion through threats or violence to give away property", committed in collaboration.
The arrest of the citizens was made as part of the coded police operation "Debt", while they were moving in the beach area, in the direction of Shkozet, with a vehicle.
The arrest of the 30-year-old was due to a debt for criminal activity carried out abroad, in the field of drug trafficking.
Blerim Hanku was taken and held against his will, in the "BMW X5" type vehicle, by citizens Iljaz Kotarja, 27 years old, resident of Paskuqan, Tirana, Geri Cani, 26 years old, and Jurgen Delia, 29 years old, resident of Durrës.
These three citizens were threatening the 30-year-old citizen to give him the sum of 6,000 pounds, which the citizen Iljaz Kotarja claimed he owed him for a drug case at the time when both of these citizens were serving their sentence for narcotics in the British state, in the same prison cell.
The arrestees are charged with the criminal offenses of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty" and "Coercion through threats or violence to give away property", committed in cooperation.
