An employee of the Durrës prison has reported to the police that his service weapon and a savings box were stolen from his home yesterday evening.
Authorities say they immediately took action to identify the perpetrators and solve the case.
"Last night, citizen Sh. M., 43 years old, resident of Durrës, employee of the Durrës Penitentiary Institution, reported that his service weapon and savings box had been stolen from his apartment. Work is underway to identify and capture the perpetrator(s) of the incident, as well as to clarify the circumstances ," reads a press release from the Durrës police.
