Florian Plaku, the man from Vlonia who was wanted today by the police and prosecutor's office of Tirana, as one of the three executioners of Gentian Bejtja in Larushk of Tirana, turns out to be the friend of Roan Brahim who was killed in Athens in May 2024.
Brahimi is believed to have collaborated with Florian Plaku and his brother-in-law, Ilir Beqiraj alias Brahimi, but also with other people in the incident of Gentian Bejtja's murder in Larushk.
The serious crime happened in front of Bejtja's children, as the latter was inside a small greenhouse, watering tomatoes.
According to police sources, it has been proven in dozens of cases that Roan Brahimi booked a plane ticket at a travel agency in Lezhë for Florian Plaku and several other people filed by the criminal police as being involved in serious criminal events.
This travel agency located in the city of Lezha was checked two days ago by the criminal police of Tirana and some documents and a computer were seized from there.
It is from this agency that several plane tickets were cut for Florian Plaku and other persons, whose payments were made by Roan Brahimi.
It turned out that Florian Plaku from Vlora, known in Vlora as "Pole Qorri", left Albania just a few days after the group had executed Gentjan Bejtjan with 50 Kalashnikov bullets.
The latter had escaped two previous assassination attempts, but the same team was mobilized in March 2024, carrying out his murder.
Journalist Elton Qyno says that Florian Plaku is currently in Spain.
The order for his arrest has been issued since July 26, but it has been kept secret and not published in the media in the hope that Florian Plaku would travel for vacation from Spain to Albania, where the police had planned his arrest.
But Florian Plaku has not given any signal to come to Albania, so he was officially declared internationally wanted. The Albanian police have asked the Spanish authorities to arrest the Elder, in a city in Spain.
According to Tirana police sources, the identification of Florian Plaku was carried out through a DNA analysis.
The police found traces of sweat on one of the rear door handles and the handle located on the ceiling of the "Golf 7" type car seized in the TEG area, while the arrested Edison Haxhiu was taking the car to the car wash. .
This car, already seized by the police, was used by the homicide unit to leave the place, where the group abandoned and burned the "Range-Rover" car used in Bejtja's execution.
The biological trace taken in the car was compared in the DNA database located in the criminal police in the State Police, which turned out to belong to the traces of the person arrested in 2019, Florian Plaku.
In 2019, the old man was arrested for the purpose of extradition to Italy after he was declared wanted by the Italian authorities as being involved in drug trafficking and he did this together with several other people such as Armand Lushaj, Indrit Hamzaj and Julian Aliaj. who distributed drugs in the municipalities of Florence.
In 2019, DNA traces were taken from the old man, and his identification through the sweat found on the car's handles was carried out very quickly.
That was enough for Florian Plaku to issue the measure of "arrest in prison". He has already been announced as an international wanted man and if he is arrested, he will be extradited to Albania.
This new discovery has brought to another level the investigations of the prosecutor's office and the Tirana police, who said that the murder of Bejtja in front of his children was ordered and financed by a criminal group operating in the area of Nikla, but the executioners are believed to were taken from Vlora.
