The repentant justice, 39-year-old Artan Tafani, turns out that during the arrest he had a Greek identity card with him. But like Taftani, Laert Haxhiu, Bledar Jambelli, or Marius Diamanti have also been found with a Greek identity card.
The finding of "taftotitas" among people with serious criminal records, brings to attention the scandal of equipping many Albanian citizens with fake cards, some of them wanted even in Russia or others with serious criminal records. These cards serve every citizen to be identified as Greek, even at border crossing points. Bledar Jambelli was one of the people who told the Greek police the name of the person who headed the criminal group that supplied Albanians with these cards.
Initially, the scandal was discovered by the Greek police at the end of 2021, where 20 people were arrested, among them 9 police officers, 1 official of the Ministry of Citizen Protection, 1 employee of civil status, 1 lawyer and 8 citizens and identified 34 policemen involved. They had operated as a criminal group from 26.04.2013 to 30.11.2021. Specifically, they provided Albanian citizens with regular identification documents and licenses that result in serious criminal precedents. They also facilitated the movement of these persons to different countries of the "Schengen" area, where in some cases they were arrested.
The identity given to the clients was mainly that of homogeneous ones from the countries of the former Soviet Union. 30,000 euros were paid for each identification document, while the Greek police managed to seize 600,000 euros during the operation. Only in the safe of the office of the Police Director of Aspropirgo, Jorgo Bello, 320 thousand euros were found and seized without justification.
But who were the Albanians who were provided with such documents?
Marius Dhiamandi, 37 years old, born in Delvina and resident in Athens, was executed with a firearm at the gas station owned by his wife on November 16, 2021. He was previously convicted for a quantity of cocaine in the Greek state, as well as for a murder for which he pleaded not guilty. After his death, Dhiamandi was found to be the author of the murder of Belgian Kristof Waegeman on May 29, 2020 in Athens. Waegeman was a major cocaine trafficker, one of the suspects in the "Mackerel" file, where cocaine trafficking by the group of Abdelilah EM alias Black, which is located in Dubai, was investigated. Dhiamandi was provided by the Greek criminal group with the identity of Stergios Mazmebidis, a Greek of origin from the former Soviet Union.
On 25.07.2014 in Virona, Greece, a card was issued in the name of Alexei Tsvetkov, while on 25.01.2015 this person was arrested by the Halandri Police Station and from the investigations it turned out that he was the citizen Mario Dervish Leskaj, born on 26.03.1980, born in Albania, who was previously accused of drug trafficking. On 15.12.2015, this person was arrested again in the criminal organization of drug trafficking. A card with the name of Alexei Tsvetkov was found in his apartment, which was not suspended anyway. On 07.02.2020, when he was released, he went to the Aspropirgo Police Station, when he asked to renew his card, which was actually seized by the anti-drugs. He renewed the card. On 25.01.2021 in Halandri, the DIAS team was stopped for inspection. One of the police officers started to question him in some Russian words when he stopped him for a search but he did not answer. Immediately uploaded the photo of the card to a group where the police communicate and the response came from an officer of the sector against crimes against life and property. He said that the person in the photo is an Albanian previously convicted of cocaine trafficking, fines, explosives and assaulting the police. Mario Leskaj was arrested again, now for forging the card.
Biznesmeni 49-vjeçar nga Tirana, me iniciale N.E., në vitin 2015 i kishte paguar 50 mije euro grupit kriminal dhe kishte siguruar një kartë identiteti dhe një pasaportë, me të cilat udhëtoi drejt Londrës bashkë me familjen e tij dhe aty ngriti një biznes. Biznesmeni shqiptar në 6 qershor 2021 bashkë me avokatin e tij, një dëshmitar të rremë shkuan në një Komisariat policie në Greqi ku deklaruan humbjen e dokumenteve dhe kërkuan rinovimin e tyre. i vetë deklaruari si shtetas grek me emrin Damiar Hasenov, në fakt nuk dinte asnjë fjale greqisht dhe komunikoi me oficerët në anglisht. Pas një procedure hetimore, 49-vjecari zbuloi se ishte nga Shqipëria dhe quhet N. E, lindur në Tiranë. Menjëherë ndaj tij nisi ndjekja penale për falsifikim dhe u informua sektori për Çështjet e Brendshme për rastin e rëndë. E çuditshmja është se grupi kriminal nuk i la këto të dhëna të falsifikuara të shkonin dëm. Disa ditë pas zbulimit të rastit, u zbulua se këto të dhëna ishin përdorur për nxjerrjen e një karte identiteti tjetër nga Komisariati i Distomos. Madje drejtuesi i Komisariatit Aspropirgo telefonoi drejtuesin e policisë ne Axarnon që zbuloi identitetin e dyfishtë të shqiptarit por edhe drejtuesin e policisë në Distomo që kishte nxjerrë karte identiteti në emrin Damiar Hasenov, duke kërkuar informacion përtej kompetencave të tij.
Në dosjen hetimore përmendet një rast tjetër skandaloz, ai i një shqiptari nga Vlora. Në 11 janar 2019, Komisariati i Vironas u njoftua nga Drejtoria e Përgjithshme e Policisë Greke se disa ditë para datës 31 tetor 2018, shtetasi … u arrestua në Holande gjatë kontrollove për trafik droge. Gjate daktiloskopimit të tij rezultoi të ishte riregjistruar në Gjermani dhe Ceki si shtetasi shqiptar …. lindu në 1977 në Vlorë, Shqipëri. Gjatë arrestimit në Holandë rezultoi se ai kërkohej në Greqi me urdhër arresti 26.05.2016, urdhër arresti nga Prokuroria Athinë për krijim grupi kriminal trafiku droge. Ai rezulton edhe sot në kërkim, i dënuar në Athinë me 12 vjet burg dhe 51 mijë euro gjobe për trafik droge.
Një nga drejtuesit e grupit kriminal që pajiste shqiptarë me dokumenta greke është dhe Ilia Z. Në banesën e këtij të fundit u sekuestruan 294.000 euro. Ilia Z. kishte siguruar dy karta identiteti false, konkretisht më 25 korrik 2014 nga Komisariari i Vironas dhe një tjetër në 2021 nga Komisariati i Ampelokipi. Ai rezulton të jetë arrestuar në Holandë në 2018 për trafik droge. Në një dite me të, ka siguruar identitet të rremë nën emrin Alexei Tsvetkov edhe shqiptari Mario Dervish Leskaj. Leskaj rezulton të jetë arrestuar më parë për trafik droge bashkë me shqiptarin Ilia Z.
Bledar Jambelli alias Rikardo Muho, porositësi i vrasjes së Komisar Artan Cukut, rezulton të jetë pajisur me identitet grek fals nga ky grupi kriminal. Bledar Jambelli kishte siguruar në Xania një kartë identiteti dhe pasaportë greke në emrin Xristos Xamkidis. Rikardo Muho, që për policinë greke, e kishte të shtrirë veprimtarinë kriminale në Spanje dhe Greqi, në prill 2020 është marrë në pyetje nga policia greke ku ka dhënë informacion të vlefshëm lidhur me grupin kriminal të falsifikatoreve. Sipas tij, kishte paguar 35 mije euro për të ndërruar identitet dhe ketë e kishte bërë me qëllim që mos të ekstradohej në Shqipëri por të qëndronte pranë familjarëve të tij që ndodhen në Greqi.
Në 29 prill 2020 teksa ishte thirrur nga Prokuroria e Pireut për një ceshtje kontrabande cigaresh, Bledar Jambelli alias Rikardo Muho, si një “klient i pakënaqur” kishte treguar identitetin e një prej krerëve të grupit, një 62-vjecar homogjen grek nga Kazakistani. Ai tha se M. i kishte pranuar se të dhënat e identitetit që i kishin dhënë Muhos, i kishin përdorur edhe në dy persona të tjerë. Në drejtim të grupit kriminal të falsifikatoreve rezultuan dy kushurinj homogjenë grekë nga Kazakistani. Madje 37-vjecari Marius Dhiamandi nga Delvina, i vrare ne Athinë, posedues i identitetit Stergios Maznevidis, rezulton se mbante kontakte me një nga drejtuesit e grupit deri 2 muaj para se të ekzekutohej nga vrasës me pagesë.
Në 22 maj 2023, në Janinë policia greke pas një ndjekjeje ndaloi një fuoristradë tip “BMW” X6, brenda së cilës ndodheshin shqiptarët Laert Haxhiu, 31 vjeç nga Lushnja, Juxhin Barjami, 35 vjec nga Delvina dhe Firdeus Berberi, 22 vjec nga Pogradeci. Haxhiu kërkohej në Shqipëri për vrasje ndërsa Berberi për “plagosje të rëndë me dashje”. Barjami ndërkohë është kushëriri i parë i Marius Dhiamandit, teksa rezulton të jetë plagosur gjatë atentatit të 16 nëntorit 2021 ku u vra Dhiamandi.
Gjatë kontrollit të mjetit, Laert Haxhiut, i’u gjet dhe sekuestruar një kartë identiteti greke në emër gjeorgjian, të lëshuar nga Komisariati grek i Distomos, e cila rezulton kartë e revokuar.
