Gentjan Bejtja's murder had become one of the main tasks for the criminal group operating in Nikël, where after two failed attempts in 2022 and 2023, Bejtja's execution was carried out at his home on March 15, 2024.

But apparently the criminal intrigues have broken this old society, causing Gentjan Bejtja to jump on the side of Ervis Martinaj and Arben Ndoka, two opponents of the brothers Bami and Marklen Haka.
Haka and Bami have suspected that the man who informed about the movements of the Bami brothers, and kept the cars in Larushk ready to carry out the murders, was exactly Gentjan Bejtja, this person who knew well every alley in the area of Nikla and Fushë-Kruja.
So he had become the main person to be eliminated. After the murder, the police and the prosecutor's office interrogated Valter Bami, the brother of Durim Bami in Nikël.
Valteri had only been out of prison for two days, after being arrested as a suspect in the second assassination attempt against Bejtja, in which his brother-in-law Ramazan Sino was killed and his two children were injured.
At the time of the murder, Valter Bami was on a plane to Dubai, while after the murder he returned to Albania, voluntarily presenting himself to the Tirana police, giving explanations for the serious incident.
Asked in the capacity of a person who has knowledge of the circumstances of the investigation, Valter Bami stated that on March 15, 2024, he left Albania for Kosovo and then traveled by plane to the city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, where stayed together with his brother, Durim Bami.
Regarding the incident, he explained that on March 15, 2024, he was in the city of Dubai and was informed about the incident by his wife, who informed him that the police had gone to his apartment and were asking him for a statement.
In connection with this event, Edison Bami, the cousin of the two Bami brothers in Nikël, was questioned. He explained that he is a resident of the city of Fushë-Kruje where he has his apartment, but that he also stays in Nikël from time to time in the apartments of his cousins Durim and Valter Bami.
Regarding the incident, where Gentian Bejtja was killed in his apartment in the village of Larushk, Krujë, Bami explained that when the incident happened, he was in the bar he manages in the village of Verjon, Krujë.
