A serious incident was recorded at noon on Thursday in a village of Maliqi. It is known from sources that a 71-year-old man sexually harassed a minor girl.
The police explain that it was the girl's father who made the report to the police, meanwhile, according to the statements, the incident took place in a playground near the village school.
Another resident of the area saw the shameful actions towards the minor girl, who immediately removed the girl from the scene. It is learned that the elderly man with the initials PL lives alone, as his wife and children live abroad.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the case, while the 71-year-old man has fallen into police custody.
"Maliq Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto PL citizen, 71 years old, resident of Sheqeras village, Maliq, after allegedly sexually harassing a 9-year-old girl," the police announced.
