The State Police, within the coded operation "Focus", destroyed 5241 narcotic plants in Shkodër, Krujë, Lezhë and Tropoja.
3155 narcotic plants were found during the control of the territory of Shkodër district, within the 17th phase of the police operation coded "Clean Alps".
2856 plants were found in the villages of Gjuraj, Kasnec, Brashtë, Nenmavriq, Lekaj, Nicaj, Ndërlysaj, Çilkok, Plan and Kir, of Shkodër municipality. 219 plants were found in the villages of Kroni i Madh and Qerret, in the municipality of Vau i Deja, while 80 narcotic plants were found in the village of Armiraj in the municipality of Fushë Arrëz.
In the Lezhë district, a total of 570 suspected narcotic cannabis plants were destroyed. 220 narcotic plants were found in the village of Zhejë, while 82 plants were found in the village of Skuraj, of the Mamurras administrative unit. While 268 narcotic plants were found in the village of Gërnac of the Milot administrative unit.
31 cannabis plants were found and destroyed in Tropoja. The structures of the local police directorates of Shkodër, Lezhë, Kukës and Tirana, under the direction of the respective Prosecutor's Offices, continue the investigations for the identification, capture and bringing before the legal responsibility of the perpetrators of the cultivation of narcotic plants.
