Since the early hours of the morning, the forces of the Kruja Police Commissariat, supported by officers from Tirana, have launched a wide-ranging operation against cannabis cultivation in the territory of the Kruja district.
Kruja has been considered for years one of the most problematic areas in the country when it comes to the cultivation of narcotic plants.
Since the beginning of spring, police actions have been carried out almost every day in this district in areas identified as the most problematic, including Malësia e Krujës, Nikla and Thumana.
The operation is still ongoing and police forces are on the ground.
