A SPAK mega-operation has managed to uncover the criminal activity of 7 groups, in which some of the well-known names of the world of crime in our country operated. So far, 50 arrest warrants have been issued by GJKKO.
Three police officials were also part of these groups, Klodian Shahini, Head of the Illegal Traffic and Narcotics Section in the Local Police Directorate of Lezha, Henerigert Mitri, who was the director of the Lezha Police, as well as Altin Morina which was part of the structure of the RENEA forces.
It is suspected that Klodian Shahini, using his position as a police officer, has helped Elson Reçin to verify for him the license plates of the vehicles used by Preng Gjini, as well as all the entry and exit of the latter from the border points in the country.
On the other hand, according to the sources, it is said that Henerigert Mitri had continuous communications with the arrested businessman, Pëllumb Gjoka, to whom he assured peace to continue his criminal gambling activity.
On the other hand, Altin Morina had contacts and communications with Durim Bami, while through the payments he received from the latter, he ensured him to carry out his criminal activity, in relation to the cannabis plots he had planted.
