A 40-year-old Albanian managed to escape from the hands of the Greek authorities, as he was stopped by the officers in Thessaloniki.
It is reported that the Greek policemen stopped him to check his vehicle, but the Albanian gassed the car by slamming the door of one of the officers, who was injured and taken to the hospital.
Then, he threw a package of raw cannabis weighing 1.42 kg on the road, abandoned the vehicle nearby and ran away. While he also left his 33-year-old partner in the car, who was arrested by the police.
However, the 40-year-old has been identified and declared wanted by the Greek authorities.
The car was seized, while a package of cocaine weighing 5.78 grams and an electronic scale were seized from their house in an area of Thessaloniki.
The 33-year-old and the wanted Albanian have been charged with drug transportation.
