
The head of the Chamber of Advocacy, Maksim Haxhia, has reacted regarding the event two days ago in Durrës, where a vehicle hit the lawyer Leonard Dinga to death.
Haxhia has requested the disclosure of the criminal offense and the legal responsibility of the author.
We recall that earlier, colleagues of the late lawyer raised doubts that the accident may have been intentional, considering the cases that Dinga was defending.
"The death of lawyer Leonard Dingo, an event that happened in the morning of August 21, has set in motion the Chamber of Advocates of Albania, which has requested that this investigation be carried out to the end to avoid any doubt and misinterpretation.
From the preliminary investigations and the evidence at the scene, the Police have concluded that it was a road accident. The deceased Dingo was 63 years old, a lawyer by profession and a member of the Durrës Bar Association.
The Head of the Chamber, Prof. Doctor Maksim Haxhia, has contacted directly the Heads of the State Police and the Durrës Local Director with the leader Skënder Hitaj.
As leader and on behalf of the chamber, Professor Haxhia has requested the disclosure of the criminal offense and the legal responsibility of the author. On the other hand, on behalf of the police, Mr. Hitaj has guaranteed that intensive work is being done to catch the suspected perpetrator, identified as a 23-year-old immigrant. On behalf of all colleagues, the Albanian Bar Association expresses its regrets and condolences to the Dingo family", writes Haxhia.
