A 24-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana police after stealing five motorcycles within a week.
The arrested man with the initials AB has been previously convicted of domestic violence.
"The police operation codenamed "Repeater" is being finalized by Police Commissariat No. 3 to solve 5 repeated cases of skateboard theft.
A 24-year-old man, previously convicted of domestic violence, is arrested.
The services of the Police Commissariat No. 3, in continuation of the work to crack down on criminal activity in the field of theft, based on complaints received from various citizens, regarding cases of theft of their skateboards, thanks to police intelligence, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Repeaters".
As a result of this operation, citizen AB, 24 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, during the last few months, has committed 5 thefts in different areas of Tirana, specifically:
– On 28.01.2025, he is suspected of stealing the skateboard of citizen AM;
– On 28.01.2025, he is suspected of stealing the skateboard of citizen Xh. G.;
– On 28.01.2025, he is suspected of stealing the skateboard of citizen EI;
– On 27.01.2025, he is suspected of stealing the skateboard of citizen PS;
– On 24.01.2025, he is suspected of stealing the skateboard of citizen EK
"Work continues to uncover other thefts that may have been committed by this citizen," the police announced.
