A 45-year-old Albanian man has fallen into the hands of the Italian police, after shooting his partner's son after a conflict.
The event happened around 03:30 on Sunday in Milan. The young man received a bullet in the neck, while he was transported to the hospital and immediately underwent surgery.
According to the investigators, everything happened at the height of an argument in the street, but the motive has not been revealed yet, although it is believed to be the jealousy of the injured, for the Albanian's relationship with his mother.
The Albanian was arrested a few hours after the incident. He is accused of the attempted murder of his partner's 18-year-old son, of "attempted murder", "receiving stolen goods" and "arms possession without a permit".
During the search, the investigators found a cartridge inside the house, the weapon of the crime, a pistol stolen in 2013 in Sassuolo (Modena) and 40 cartridges of the same caliber, all seized, "Ilmessaggero" writes.
The victim was transported to the Niguarda hospital in Milan, where he is in critical condition. In the meantime, the arrested person will be sent to the prison of Milan San Vittore, at the disposal of the justice bodies for security measure, investigation and judicial process.
