Another clash was recorded in the courtroom at the GJKKO between Nuredin Dumani, a repentant justice official, and Fatos Gosa, one of the defendants in the trial.
Dumani, responding to the lawyer's questions, said that he had spoken with Talo Çela, who told him that police checks may have been undertaken because Fatos Gosa may have spoken.
The latter has denied Dumani's statements, and at one point even stated that politics has connected him to these disgraceful people.
Excerpt from the testimony in the Criminal Court:
Nuredin Dumani: When Renea came to my house for an event in Peqin, Renea came to me in Durrës. Someone had sold me, that there was no way. When I asked Talon, he told me that Fatos Gosa would have spoken.
Lawyer Përparim Kulluri: You said that Talo wanted to kill Fatos.
Nuredin Dumani: Not that he would kill him, but he said that he should be removed, since he knows a lot. I complained to Talo about the police. He told me that Fatos Gosa would have brought him.
Lawyer: Did you talk to Erion Alibeaj about the murder of his cousin?
Nuredin Dumani: Yes, I spoke. I told him, I'm sorry, that I gave him the means for an assassination in Peqin, but I didn't know that he was Alibeaj's cousin.
Defendant Fatos Gosa intervenes: I have had no contact with Talo Cela. I have never had him as a friend. I want the truth to come out. The truth will come out. I have been friends with Andi Zylyfi's family. How can I do that for 15 thousand euros.
Court : Why do you think Dumani made a false statement against you?
Gosa : These people had Leonard Palushi, a crime policeman who they paid. They brought Renean to Peqin to check on several families. Dumani made the false declaration out of revenge. After I was arrested, they staged the robbery of my son in the middle of Peqin. The police came, while the boy was at home. I was not at that murder. If I was, let me be punished. Politics connected me to these scoundrels. One side stayed for 8 years and the other side for 8 years. I used to take the passports of the people who came to my bar.
Court : Have you ever met?
Gosa : Never. I wanted to be calm, but forgive me for the emotion. I've been in prison for three years and I've never met my wife and daughter.
