The kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga, the trial in absentia for Altin Hajri begins

The Special Court has decided to transfer the case to the charge of Altin Hajri, a member of the criminal group that operated in Shijak.

Hajri is accused of the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga in January 2020 and will be tried in absentia as it has not been possible to find him.

Earlier, the court sentenced Festim Bexhdili to life imprisonment, while the trial for Dritan Rexhepi and the other 6 defendants has started, a process which is nearing its final stage.
