A 28-year-old man was forcibly taken, raped, and then left on the street, following a conflict over the payment of rent for two vehicles.
Lezha police arrested three people suspected of being the perpetrators of the incident. Two brothers, RM, 28 years old and RM, 22 years old, administrators of the entity where the cars were rented, as well as their cousin, EM, 22 years old, were arrested.
According to preliminary investigations, the three young men forcibly took the 28-year-old to a gas station in the village of Derven, claiming that he had not paid the financial obligations for the two rented vehicles.
They then transported her to a gas station in the village of Shenkoll, where they allegedly physically raped her and then left her on the street.
The incident was discovered after the 28-year-old's father, a 70-year-old man, reported to the Police that his son had been forcibly taken by several people.
After the report, Lezha Police officers identified and arrested the three suspects within minutes. During the operation, the vehicle in which the young man was transported was also seized.
The 28-year-old received medical attention at the Lezha Regional Hospital and left for his apartment, out of danger to his life.
The prosecution has launched investigations into the criminal offenses of "Unlawful Deprivation of Liberty", "Self-Justice" and "Other Intentional Damage" , committed in collaboration.
"They took by force, in a vehicle, and raped a 28-year-old man, claiming that he had not paid the rent, for 2 vehicles taken from their property. 2 brothers (administrators of the property) and their cousin are arrested."
The vehicle in which the 28-year-old was forcibly taken and transported from Kruja to Lezha has been seized.
As a result of the rapid administration of a report by a 70-year-old man that his son, 28, had been forcibly taken into a vehicle and transported by several citizens, the services of the Lezha Police Commissariat enabled the identification, localization and capture, a few minutes after the report, of the 3 suspected perpetrators of the case, citizens RM, 28 years old and RM, 22 years old, brothers, as well as their cousin, citizen EM, 22 years old.
From the investigations so far, it is suspected that the 3 citizens, acting on their own initiative, forcibly took the 28-year-old man into a vehicle at a gas station in the village of Derven, claiming that the latter had not paid the money for 2 vehicles rented from the entity managed by the 2 arrested brothers.
The 3 citizens transported the 28-year-old to a gas station in the village of Shenkoll, where they raped him and then left him on the street.
The 28-year-old was transported to the Lezha Regional Hospital, where he received the necessary medical assistance and left for his apartment, out of danger to his life.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Lezha, for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty", "Self-Judgment" and "Other Intentional Damage", committed in collaboration", the police announced.
