The mother of the 39-year-old man who killed his Albanian partner, Gjeorgjia Murati, spoke to the Greek media a few days ago, saying that if he was in prison, he would kill his son. The 41-year-old woman, who was three months pregnant, was killed by her partner and then dumped in a wooded area with the help of a friend.
"I am very sorry for what I hear. I haven't spoken to him at all. I am unable to do anything right now with what I am hearing. A crime has been committed, a woman has disappeared, I am very angry. I don't know how to handle it, I don't know. A girl is lost here, where should I go to ask for forgiveness? How am I going to apologize to this child? What will he say to that mother? I know I'm not responsible, but I don't stop being the mother of a murderer. If I had been there, I would have gone to the police station to kill him", confessed the mother of the 39-year-old.
The 39-year-old's co-worker confessed to the police that he had agreed to help him with a robbery without hurting the woman.
"I accepted the offer to do a robbery without the girl getting hurt. When he took the knife in his hands, he asked me to leave. I left the palace and waited in the car. Then he came and told me that he had killed him. I agreed to move the body because I was afraid that I would suffer the same thing" , he reportedly told the police, among other things.
