Piracy and tax evasion, some arrested in Tirana

The Department of Economic Crime in the Tirana Police Directorate has today arrested several persons for piracy and tax evasion. Police forces have landed at the offices of the company "TIBO" and the points of sale "Easy Pay".

According to the police, from the information gathered on the operative route, we were informed that various commercial entities in Tirana irregularly marketed various android decoders which helped in the transmission of local and foreign television channels for which specific payment is required from the platform officially licensed.

As part of this proceeding, the following citizens were detained:

Fatjon Luniku, resident of Tirana, (administrator of the ArfaNet entity).

Adnand Mahmuti (administrator of the Tibo subject).

Elona Bogdani, (manager of Tibo stores).

Also, the announcement was made in search of the citizen JV (administrator of the Tibo entity).
