New details have come to light from the assassination attempt where he was killed in Shkodër.
It is learned that Ramazan Mataj was shot several times with volleys and this can be clearly seen from the door of the "Benz" type vehicle in which he was traveling. Shots of canisters were fired at him from both sides of the car, which means that there are at least 2 shooters.
The perpetrators allegedly guarded Mataj during the night and when he came out on the main street of the village, they shot him, leaving him dead.
Mataj has many bullets in his upper body and was shot with a Kalashnikov. Meanwhile, the police of Shkodra do not recognize him as a problematic person in the country, neither he nor his family members.
It was the residents of the area who saw the 33-year-old dead inside the vehicle and alerted the police.
"Around 7:15 a.m., in the village of Dragoç, on the road, a gun was fired at a Benz type vehicle, driven by RM citizen, 33 years old, resident of Dragoç, Shkodër, who lost his life.
Numerous police services and the National Security Force, Shkodër Unit, went to the scene.
A special investigative group has been set up and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigations are intensively continuing to clarify the circumstances and secure evidence, with the aim of legally documenting the case, identifying and apprehending the perpetrators", the police informs.
