Police have published a photo of the perpetrator who opened fire yesterday evening after an argument in the Artificial Lake area in Tirana.
After last night's brawl at a bar near the Artificial Lake, police have announced that they have arrested 8 people, while another is wanted.
The arrested are Kasem Stani (Pasha), Emiljan Ruko, Bjorni Tahiraj, Eriald Tahiraj, Denikiajder Tahiraj, Eduart Sulaj, Kastriot Stani, Elton Ajredinaj.
Meanwhile, Ilir (Adriano) Shabanaj, former mayor of Kurjan Municipality in Fier, has been declared wanted. According to the police, Shabanaj was arrested in Italy in 2018 for arms and drug trafficking.
The police also announced that they have seized the firearm and cell phones of the arrested.
Police investigations revealed that 51-year-old Adrian Shabanaj fired a single shot at the scene, but no one was injured. The 51-year-old is suspected of hitting 40-year-old Kasem Stani (Pasha) with the butt of a firearm during the conflict, for weak motives, who was slightly injured.
Meanwhile, Adrian Shabanaj, who fired a pistol once during the conflict, escaped and is wanted by the police. The perpetrator was friends with Kasem Stani, and it is suspected that he was arrested for not shaking his hand when he came to the table.
