The operation began at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24. Greek police searched with three sniffer dogs houses, cars, greenhouses and businesses held by the suspects in Ierapetra and abroad.
During the investigations, quantities of heroin and cocaine, 6790 euros from the sale of drugs, six mobile phones and a car were seized. Five Albanians were arrested, writes protothema.gr.
The five Albanians aged 33, 29, 28, 25 and 35 years old have been detained until the completion of preliminary investigations and will then be sent to the Misdemeanor Prosecutor's Office of Lasithi on the charge of creating and participating in a criminal organization and drug trafficking.
