A serious accident happened on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane axis, where 6 people were injured, one of whom, a 23-year-old woman, is in a coma, in danger of her life.
The family with 6 members stopped in the premises of a bar, about 30 m away from the road lane and were outside their vehicle when a car lost control and "flew" over their heads.
As a result, the 23-year-old girl who was hit by the vehicle is in a coma, the other 10-year-old girl broke her leg, and the 6-year-old girl, the three sisters, also suffered a fracture.
Their father was injured and their grandmother was also injured. The 44-year-old who caused the accident, a resident of Peshkopi, is being pursued at large, the Elbasan police say, while according to witnesses, the vehicle lost control after a wrong pass and then flew off the road.
The driver who caused the serious accident, according to the tests carried out by the police, was found to be drunk. Artan Pishkashi, an immigrant, had returned from Albania for a family reason when he was faced with this serious accident. The whole family is receiving medical help at the Trauma hospital, while the condition of the 23-year-old remains serious.
