The hearing in the GJKKO Appeal for Beleri is postponed, the lawyer refuses the defense

The GJKKO Appeal hearing for the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, who is accused of buying votes, has been postponed. SPAK prosecutors were present, as well as the defendant Pandeli Kokaveshi, but Beleri himself was absent.

Beleri made a statement saying that he does not want to participate in this session and that he has not chosen a lawyer. The court notified the lawyer Edmond Dema and Artjon Kasa, but then Beleri asked to be defended by Geni Gjyzari, while the latter announced that he is not the defendant's lawyer.

The court appoints a lawyer Pranvera Doçi for Beleri, while Kokavesh is given time to choose a lawyer, but appoints a lawyer mainly for Arben Peço. The session was adjourned to 07.06.2024 at 10:00.
